There are lots of travel stops out there. But there's only one Love's. Since 1964, our way of doing business - and growing our professionals - has separated us from the competition. Today, we’ve grown to 5,500 people in 190 locations across 30 states, offering tremendous potential for career-minded individuals. Love's is one of the nation's top travel stop and convenience employers.
Almost $15 million in Profit Sharing will be contributed to Love’s Management in 2006. Our people directly benefit from their efforts and share in the success of Love’s each year!
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is owned by the family of CEO Tom Love, who founded the company in 1964. Greg Love is President and COO of Love’s Development Companies, Frank Love is President and COO of Love’s Operating Companies and Jenny Love Meyer is Director of Public Relations and Charities. Love’s is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores operates over 130 travel stops in over 30 states from California to Pennsylvania, as well as 66 convenience stores in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Each travel stop includes a convenience store, a quick serve restaurant, such as Subway, Arby's, Carl's Jr, Hardee's, and fuel outlets for cars, trucks, and RVs. The travel stops also provide shower rooms, game rooms, and mail drops.
Love’s has had tremendous growth rising from $1 billion in annual sales in 2001 to over $4.5 billion in 2006. Love’s debuted at #446 on Forbes list of privately-held companies and has risen to #64 in 2006.
Love’s also takes pride in contributing to the local communities. We believe giving back to each community is an important factor to our success and the success of non-profit organizations. All of our travel stops and country stores spend dollars on an annual basis to help support local organizations and events. Each year, our travel stops and country stores have supported organizations and events such as the PTO fund-raisers, little league baseball programs and school yearbook sponsorships.
In 2006, Love's raised over $300,000 for Children’s Miracle Network. CMN is a national network of quality children’s hospitals. The funds raised last year were 10% more than in 2005. Through the hard work and dedication of our store managers and team members and through the generous donations from our customers and vendors, we will able to surpass that amount this year and help children's hospitals in every community where we are located.
Love's future is full of excitement and growth. Our current rate of growth is between 12 and 15 Travel Stops per year. With this growth comes opportunity for everyone.
